WiFi

Currently we are witnessing a trend towards unification of all information transmission channels used in hotels to the network protocol IP, networks Ethernet and WIFI. IPTV, VOIP telephony is no longer a newcomer to anyone; engineering systems data (BMS & RMS), multimedia systems, access control systems, CCTV and other systems are transmitted via wired and wireless channels using the IP protocol. It means that in the very near future, virtually all data within a hotel will be transmitted via a local area network. Such a trend, reinforced by a constant increase in the amount of information transmitted within the framework of technology, requires careful planning, forecasting and optimization of resources, while simultaneously taking into account deployment processes, operating modes and the potential for upgrading the designed network.

One of the fundamental values in projected LANs for hotels is having a high standards of safety and fault tolerance, because if the circulatory system fails, then the level of services provided incurs corresponding losses. Modern security requirements, in addition to the distribution of access levels, impose obligations on the basic structure of the network, it's physical organization, equipment functionality and etc. It means that already at the design stage, even at the time of determining the passive part of the network, these requirements must be met.

The main international hotel chains, understanding the need for standardization and compliance by developers with the quality of building a LAN, produce their own network organization standards, which define in detail the structure, requirements for equipment, services, security, communication lines and etc. Such standards are adapted directly to the objects of a hotel chain in which they are defined - after all, the structure, structure of network sections, main and third-party systems, equipment and services is unique for each brand. Knowledge of standardization and experience in the implementation of such projects allows a designer to develop with a much more confident competence and the manifestation of expert evaluation in the implementation of design tasks. Moreover, knowledge of the principles and technologies makes it possible to use this experience to develop your own concepts of organization of a LAN, taking into account the characteristics and requirements of each individual object.

It is worth mentioning and, of course, it is of great importance in the operational activities of a hotel - the need to organize high-quality WIFI coverage in a guest and administrative parts of the property. Modern realities require reliable WIFI reception, ensuring high data transfer speeds, the ability to quickly and conveniently connect to a wireless network, along with this, it is necessary to meet the legal requirements to protect the personal data of your guests.

In addition to solving the basic design tasks, our company produces the necessary composition of working documentation, linking the solution with the features of the object and the existing third-party engineering systems. In order to reduce our own costs in the process of production of works and the costs of the customer on the project interface, already at the stage of development of the RD, we try to take into account aspects and details of the process of future implementation of the complex. Thus, a set is born, which, in addition to the equipment layout, switching, specifications, calculations and other, has all the necessary documentation for comfortable installation and commissioning, as well as all the necessary tasks and instructions for third-party organizations to prepare the object to implement.

Like any circulatory system - the LAN of an object requires observation and, at best, continuous monitoring. We are sure that the uninterrupted operation of the LAN and it's working condition should be provided with preventive maintenance, until the moment when the error occurred or the equipment that was out of order affected the work of a staff or the level of service provided. To ensure a high level of service, we develop and implement network infrastructure monitoring systems. Such monitoring has extremely wide possibilities and is limited only by the information provided by the end equipment. At the same time, such systems allow to provide the network parameters of a functioning facility in a capacious and customized way, allowing for a quick response.
